Start the pump
5.4.1
Start the petrol motor
For detailed instructions refer to the Instructions for Use of the petrol engine.
•
Set the pressure relief valve (Fig. 2/6) to the "neutral" position.
•
Turn the fuel valve (Fig. 15/3) to the open position (Fig. 15/1).
•
Push the throttle lever/stop button (Fig. 16/1) to the left.
•
Push the primer (Fig. 16/2) (choke) in three times (only for a cold engine).
•
Pull on the start cord (Fig. 2/9) until you feel resistance, release the cord and then pull it fast.
Repeat this if the engine doesn't start the first time. Guide the start cord back after starting. If you
can not start the engine, refer to chapter 7, troubleshooting.
5.4.2
Start the electric motor
•
Check that the on/off switch (Fig. 3/9) is in position off (0).
•
Connect the motor to the correct power supply that corresponds with the information on the model
plate.
•
Set the pressure relief valve handle (Fig. 3/6) to the "neutral" position.
•
Start the motor by turning the on/off switch (Fig. 3/9) to position on (I).
Caution
The electric motor can not be started when loaded.
Note
The direction of rotation is irrelevant due to the design of the pump.
5.4.3
Start the air motor
Caution
Maximum allowable air pressure is 8 bar, air consumption 3.7 m
•
Connect the air motor to the compressed air source.
•
Use the ball valve to control the air motor.

Stop the pump
5.5.1
Stop the petrol motor

•
Set the pressure relief valve handle (Fig. 2/6) to the "neutral" position.
•
Push the throttle lever/stop button (Fig. 16/1) all the way to the right.
•
Turn the fuel valve (Fig. 15/3) to the closed position (Fig. 15/2).
5.5.2
Stop the electric motor
•
Set the pressure relief valve handle (Fig. 3/6) to the "neutral" position.
•
Stop the motor by turning the on/off switch (Fig. 3/9) to position off (0).
•
Disconnect the motor from the power supply.
