Separate, untwist and unkink the three 80" motor leads.
Route the 80" black, blue and white motor leads
through the downrod (Figure 7).

Align the Clevis Pin holes in the Downrod with the holes
in the Motor Coupler.
Install the Clevis Pin and secure with the Hairpin Clip
(Figure 8).
The Clevis Pin must go through the holes in the Motor
Coupler. It is critical that the Clevis Pin and Hairpin Clip
are properly installed in the Motor Coupler.
Pull on the Downrod to make sure the Clevis Pin is
properly installed.
WARNING
!
It is critical that the clevis pin in the motor coupler is
properly installed and securely tightened. Failure to
verify that the pin is properly installed could result in
the fan falling.
