CAN connection

If you are monitoring the photovoltaic system using the
Conergy monitoring system, connect the string inverter to the
Conergy IPG T series by means of CAN-bus.

Connection for previous inverters in a photovoltaic
system, Conergy monitoring unit or parameterisation
tool StringInverter setup

CAN Out
Connection for subsequent inverters in a photovoltaic
system or terminator. If the Conergy monitoring unit or
StringInverter setup is connected, the CAN bus must
be closed with a terminator.

Terminator
A terminator is included in the delivery of the Conergy
monitoring system and the StringInverter setup. You
can also order it separately from the manufacturer.

Conergy monitoring unit
CAN cable
For the connection you will require a 5-pin CAN cable with a
5-pin M12 socket on one end and a 5-pin M12 plug on the
other.
Damage due to incorrect connection.
Incorrect wire configuration may restrict functionality of the
inverter, or may damage it.
