620RE4A pumphead
DANGER! - EXPLOSION HAZARD
Failure to ensure dissipation of static may cause fire or explosion.
The resistance from any point on the pumphead guard to the earth
terminal is typically 25 Ohms.
Before commissioning:
•
Test the maximum resistance from any point on the guard to
earth. The resistance must not exceed 1 MΩ.
•
Test the maximum resistance from a metal point on the rotor
assembly to the drive casework. The resistance must not exceed
1 MΩ.
Peristaltic tubing is insulating and so its use should be limited to the
length adjacent to the pumphead. Earthed, conductive pipework
should be used elsewhere in the system.
