When installing and using this electrical appliance, basic safety precaution should always be followed, including the following:

WARNING: RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK. Only insert the plug into a properly grounded socket.

WARNING: The Pool Heater must be supplied by an isolating transformer or supplied through a residual current device (RCD) having a rated

residual operating current not exceeding 30mA.

WARNING: The RCD plug must be tested before each use.

IMPORTANT- Using the Pool Heater with an unmatched electrical supply is dangerous and will result in catastrophic failure of the Pool Heater.

WARNING: To reduce the risk of injury, do not permit children to use this product unless they are closely supervised at all times.

WARNING- RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK- The Pool Heater can not be used while people are inside the pool.

WARNING: If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a

hazard.

WARNING: To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not use extension cords to connect the unit to electric supply; provide a properly located outlet.

WARNING: Do not bury cord. Locate cord to minimize abuse from lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, and other equipment.

DO NOT MODIFY THE PLUG IN ANY WAY. DO NOT USE ADAPTOR PLUGS. Consult a qualified electrician for any questions related to the validity

of your plugs grounding.

WARNING: Do not switch on if there is a possibility that the water in the Pool Heater is frozen.

CAUTION-This Pool Heater is for use with storable pools only. Do not use with permanently-installed pools. A storable pool is constructed so that it is

capable of being readily disassembled for storage and reassembled to its original integrity. A permanently-installed pool is constructed in or on the

ground or in a building such that it cannot be readily disassembled for storage.

WARNING: The plug of the Pool Heater shall be at least 3.5m away from the pool.

WARNING: It is necessary to have the plug accessible after installation of the pool.

WARNING: Before using the Pool Heater, make sure the pool has been filled with water.

WARNING: Before switching on the Pool Heater, you must FIRST plug-in the Filter Pump and THEN the Pool Heater. To switch off, you must FIRST

switch off the Pool Heater and THEN unplug the Filter Pump.

WARNING: Pool Heaters are designed for used with specific water volume; ensure your Pool Heater matches your pool's water volume along with

your Filter Pump's designated water flow rate.

WARNING: The outlet must not be connected to any tap or fitting other than those specified.

WARNING: The new hose-sets supplied with the appliance are to be used and that old hose-sets should not be reused.

WARNING: This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensor or mental capabilities, or lack of

experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their

safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

CAUTION: Never add water to chemicals. Always add chemicals to water to avoid strong fumes or violent reactions that may result in hazardous

chemical spray.

NOTE: Handle the Pool Heater with care. Do not pull or carry the Pool Heater by the power cord. Keep cords free from abrasions. Sharp objects, oil,

moving parts, and heat should never be exposed to the Pool Heater.

NOTE: Please examine all equipment before use. Notify Bestway through our customer service address listed on this manual for any damaged or

missing parts at the time of purchase. Verify all components represent the model that you purchased.

(*): NOTE: The Increased Heat Rate is just for reference. The actual heating time may vary according to the pool's water volume, environmental

temperatures and other conditions. Usually, if the pool has a large water volume or if environment temperatures are low, longer heating time is

required. However, if the temperature increase is less than 0.2°C after one heating hour, the water temperature can be thought to have reached the

highest temperature.
