REMOVING
1. Lubricate nut (1) and spindle (6)
2. Marking the position of the bush.
3. Assemble tool as shown using items (2-6-3-1)
4. Apply penetrating oil to bush.
5. Using a hot air gun, heat bush housing for at least 2 minutes.
6. With item (2) on top of the bush, feed the spindle (6) through the bush and fix item 3 onto the
base of the old bush and the axle carrier.
7. Attach the spindle nut (1) and tighten it by using a 24mm spanner.
8. This should force the bush out.
9. If this proves difficult, remove tool, add more penetrating oil and try again.
INSTALLING
1. Check with a workshop manual to see if an adhesive is recommended.
2. Re-grease the spindle and spindle nut.
3. Apply liquid soap or similar to the new bush to aid installation.
4. Re-assemble the tool as shown using items (4-6-5-1).
5. Position item (4) on top of the axle carrier and screw in the spindle (6)
6. Check the alignment with marks made earlier.
7. Slide item (5) onto the spindle and fix the spindle nut.
8. Slowly turn the spindle nut using a 24mm spanner and gradually force the bush into place.
9. Check constantly for correct alignment.
10. Replace all other parts in accordance with a workshop manual.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

Dispose of this product at the end of its working life environmentally. Recycle unwanted
materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging
should be sorted, taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is
compatible with the environment. Contact your local solid waste authority for recycling
information.
