Exchange of the COB printed circuit board up to

10. Plug in the cables for the illuminated ring and the eBus. Install
the new printed circuit board after checking that the mains
switch is set to OFF (fully anticlockwise) and the potentiom-
eters are in the centre position.
11. Plug in the cables.
12. Insert the rotary knob for the ON/OFF operating switch, item
no.: 1710215, with the pointer at O.
13. Insert the rotary knobs for hot water temperature selection
and heating, item no.: 1710216, with the pointer at 5. Subse-
quently, carefully turn fully clockwise and anticlockwise. If the
rotary knob cannot be turned fully clockwise or anticlockwise,
it must be pulled off and rotated by 180°.

14. Fit the rear cover again.
15. Screw on the controller and fit the housing cover.
16. Carry out a functional check:
a) If a parameter plug is fitted, the reset button must be
pressed twice after switching the device on.
b) Make changes to the parameter settings if changes from
the factory settings are necessary.
c) Put the device into operation ► burner switches on
d) Check the function of control accessories.
A functional check must be carried out after replacing the
printed control board. There is otherwise a danger of per-
sonal injuries due to malfunctioning of the heater.
If the parameter HG00 is changed, the burner adjustment
must also be checked.
