Installing the timer
The timer can be installed on faucets with two different
dimensions (1" e ¾").
1. If the tap has a 1" thread, tighten the thread (1) on the tap;
2. If the tap has a ¾ "thread, tighten the fitting (2) on the fitting
thread. Turn the connection thread to tighten the fitting on
the tap;
3. Tighten the Hose connecting accessory (7) to the water
outlet;
4. Insert the irrigation system's hose quick connector into the
hose connecting accessory.
Tighten the connecting thread and the connecting
accessories by hand. Do not use tightening tools.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
This device is designed for outdoor use in gardens to control the
operation of sprinklers and irrigation systems. This equipment
should not be used with chemicals, food, and flammable or
explosive materials.
You can set the timer to water at any time of the day. The device
starts and ends the irrigation automatically, according to the
mode of your choice.
Setting the date and time
When you turn on the device for the first time or whenever you
replace the battery, you must set the current day and time.
1. To set the day, keep the "TIME" button pressed and press the
"DAY" button until the current day is shown on the display
(3);
MO - Monday; TU - Tuesday; WE - Wednesday; TH -
Thursday; FR - Friday; SA - Saturday; SU – Sunday.
2. To set the time, keep the "TIME" button pressed and press
"HOUR" and "MIN" buttons to select the current time.
To make a faster selection of the day, hour or minute
hold the buttons until you reach the desired value.
Operating modes
The timer has two operating modes: manual and automatic.
Manual mode:
1. Press "MAN/AUTO" button to activate or deactivate the
device.
▪ To activate the device set the selection arrow to "ON"
position. You will listen to a "beep" when the device is on;
▪ To deactivate set the selection arrow to "OFF" position.
Automatic mode:
2. To select the automatic mode press the "MAN/AUTO"
button until the selection arrow is in "AUTO" position.
Setting the watering modes
The mode configuration must always be set when the
water is switched off.
The timer allows selecting 15 days combinations. In each
combination, it is possible to select eight mode interruptions.
1. Press the "PROG" button once. It will show 1
2. Press "HOUR" and "MIN" buttons to set the beginning time;
(24h configuration timer)
3. Press the "DAY" button to set the day or combinations of
days you want mode 1 to operate;
(The timer considers every days by default)
4. Press "PROG" button again. It will show 1
5. Press the "HOUR" and "MIN" button to set the stopping
time;
6. Press the "DAY" button to set the day or combinations of
days you want program 1 to stop operating;
7. If you want the timer to turn on once during the day(s)
selected in topic 3, press the "TIME" button to leave the
configuration;
If you intend to add more mode interruptions to the selected
day(s) at topic 3, or add more days with other mode
interruptions:
8. Press the "PROG" button again. It will show 2
9. Repeat the steps on 2 to 5 topics;
After setting every interruptions mode:
10. Press the "TIME" button to leave the configuration;
11. Press the "PROG" button to check all configurations and
make sure that:
▪ In each mode, the operating days are the same for the
beginning time (ON) and for stopping time (OFF);
▪ Each mode is set with a beginning time (ON) and a stopping
time (OFF);
To change the time mode, press the "ESC" button to
define new time.
So the timer can operate according to the desired
operating periods, always keep the date and time
updated.
