How to prepare the coffee Fig.B
Check that the coffee maker is cold, and then unscrew it by holding the boiler with one hand and turning the
handle of the pitcher anticlockwise with the other.
Remove the funnel filter.
For 3 cups of coffee, fill the boiler with fresh water until reaching the safety valve that is visible also inside the
boiler without exceeding it. For 1 cup of coffee, fill the boiler with water up to around 2 centimeters below the
safety valve.
Use tip: use fresh, low-limescale water, to preserve the flavor and tasting of the coffee.
Important: do not use the coffee maker without water in the boiler or with hot water.
Insert the funnel filter in the boiler. For one cup of coffee, also insert the 1 cup filter adapter in the funnel filter.
Fill the filter with ground coffee, without pressing it. Fill it a little at a time to avoid spilling.
Distribute the ground coffee evenly and remove any excess from the edge of the funnel filter.
Important: use good quality, medium-ground coffee for MOKA coffee makers. Do not use barley
coffee with this coffee maker.
Tighten the coffee maker securely, without exaggerating, holding the boiler with one hand and turning the pitcher
clockwise with the other, without pushing on the handle.
Place the coffee maker on the support base. Close the pitcher lid.
Press the on/off switch. After a few minutes the coffee will come out from the dispenser.
When coffee stops coming out, pour it into coffee cups and stir it well before serving.
Coffee will be ready in about 4-5 minutes.
