FUSE CHECK/REPLACEMENT/RESET

Circuit breaker check
1.
Drive the machine on a level ground.
2.
Engage the parking brake.
3.
Turn the ignition key (64) to "O" and remove it.
4.
On the panel (38), check for deactivation of one of the following fuses (
(A): F1 (30 A), vacuum system
(B): F2 (16 A), fi lter shaker
(C): F4 (30 A), ignition key
(D): F5 (16 A), engine accessory
(E): F3 (10 A), DustGuard system nozzle (if equipped)
(F): F6 (10 A), working light (if equipped)
(G): F7, light system (if equipped)
(H): F8, cab fan (if equipped)
Reset any deactivated fuse, when the component that caused deactivation has fully cooled down.
Fuse check/replacement
1.
Drive the machine on a level ground.
2.
Engage the parking brake.
3.
Turn the ignition key (64) to "O" and remove it.
4.
Open the engine compartment hood (1) by using the unlocking push-button (25).
5.
In the driver's seat area, remove the covers and check the following fuses for integrity (Fig. 12-13):
(I): F9 (50 A), pre-heating glow plugs (only for Proterra™ Diesel)
(J): F10 (50 A), alternator
(K): F11 (1 A), hood inner light (optional)
Replace any open fuse. Install the cover.
6.
Close the engine compartment hood (1).
