Regulatory instructions
• Serious damage may occur should any water spill on the unit.
Unplug the unit from the mains and contact your retailer.
• Do not use the unit when your hands are wet or you are standing
on a wet floor. Never touch the AC adapter cable or plug if your
hands are wet.
• Before connecting the unit to the mains, check:
– that the unit, power cable and plug are not damaged. If the
unit, AC adapter cable or plug is damaged, do not use it.
If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its after-sales service or a similarly qualified
person in order to prevent any risks.
– that the voltage of the power source and the rated voltage
correspond to the specifications indicated on the unit's
nameplate. Only use the power adapter supplied with this unit.
• The unit, power cable and mains socket must be easily accessible
at all times.
• Never allow the AC adapter cable to touch any hot surface. If
the keyboard is placed on a table, position the AC adapter cable
so it is not possible to become entangled with it.
• Do not allow the power cable to touch any sharp edges or
corners.
• Make sure the power cable is not crushed or bent at any time
especially where it attaches to the unit and the plug.
• Position the cable in such a way that it cannot pose a tripping
hazard or be stepped on by accident. Do not cover the power
cable or place it under a heavy object.
• Do not use multi-sockets or extension leads and do not put other
devices with a high power output on the same circuit, as this
could lead to the unit overheating and becoming a fire hazard.
• Use the mains socket as a means of switching off the unit.
Always switch off the mains socket before unplugging the unit.
• Do not pull on the power cable to unplug it from the mains
socket.
• Unplug the unit from the power source during lightning storms
or whenever it will not be used for an extended period of time.
