3.2. X-RAY EMISSION REMOTE CONTROL
The system is equipped with a remote control to enable X-ray emission.
When the system is ready (green LED on fixed), you can start X-ray emission by pressing the button on the remote
control and holding it down for the entire duration of the examination.
When the examination is started, the yellow LED on the remote control comes on and simultaneously an acoustic
signal is emitted.

If the button is released before the examination is complete, image acquisition will be interrupted.
If acquisition is interrupted before it is complete, the entire portion of tissue analysed will however be shown on the
PC together with an error message.
If the image is exhaustive, even if partial, the examination does not need to be repeated, thus avoiding subjecting the
patient to a further dose of radiation.
In order to comply with the operator safety regulations on ionising radiation (for clarifications, see the paragraph on
radiation safety), the operator must stand at least 2 metres away from the X-ray device during emission.
