5.5.1

Inspection and Functional Check

Further use is confirmed by the successful inspection of the product.
• The products must be macroscopically clean, i.e. free from visible contamination, after each
cleaning process.
• Inspect the products for fractures, cracks, deformation, damage and proper function.
• Worn, deformed, porous or otherwise damaged products must be replaced.

Storage and Transport

• Store and transport cleanly.
• Avoid severe temperature fluctuations.
• Protect the products against mechanical damage.
• If the headlight is to be stored for more than two weeks, remove the batteries and place them in the
original packaging.
• Store batteries only at ambient temperatures from 0°C to +25°C (+32°F to +77°F).
• Use the charging unit only in dry environments in a closed area. Protect from rain, snow, inflammable
materials, excessive heat and/or moisture.
Where applicable, the specific parameters for ambient conditions during the application (temperature
range and air humidity) as stated on the product label must be observed.
