MAINTENANCE
Ozoneair Purify only requires a small amount of
maintenance, some parts need regular replacement
for the machine to run properly and ensure high quality
purifying.
UV lamps
After approximately one year of continuous use or 5000 operating hours,
the UV lamps needs to be replaced as their power has decreased. The
"Replace UV" indicator will light up on the display when the UV lamps
needs to be replaced. Below, instructions regarding how to order and
safely change the UV lamps will follow.
Safety precautions UV and ozone lamps
• Always keep the UV and ozone lamps in the provided protective case
or cover until installation.
• Let the lamps cool at least 15 minutes before opening the lamp holders.
• Be careful not to touch the new UV or ozone lamps when placing them
inside, this will decrease the ability of the UV source.
• Use a cloth or cotton gloves as protection if needed.
• Do not stress the glass parts when tightening the electrical connections,
risk of breaking.

Remove/insert UV lamps
Make sure
the product is
disconnected from
power.
Open the two
rubber protections
on the bottom of
the product and
loosen the two
screws.
Pull the lamp
holders straight
out from the
product.
Pull the lamp
straight out from
the base.
To install new
lamps, reverse the
process.
Reset the UV count
by pressing menu
and mode button
simultaneously
until "Replace UV"
has disappeared.
WARNING! - It is important to replace the lamps when
they reach its lifetime limit. An old lamp having a dark-
ened glass surface has a risk of breaking and should be
replaced at advised time. Always replace both UV lamps
at the same time.
NOTE - One UV lamp and the ozone lamp are placed
next to each other in one of the lamp holders. The ozone
lamp can easily be identified since it only has one glass
tube.
Order new UV lamp
UV lamps can be bought directly from Ozoneair. Use of parts other than
those supplied by Ozoneair will void any warranties.
NOTE - The UV and ozone lamps shall be disposed in
containers intended for lamps containing mercury.
Cleaning of UV and Ozone lamps
It is recommended to clean the UV and ozone lamps every 3-6 months.
This is to ensure that the UV light is emitted with full effect from the lamps.
For regular maintenance or if the quartz glass of the UV or ozone lamps
becomes stained, extract the lamp holder and clean the outside of the
lamp with a soft cotton towel and alcohol. Be careful not to touch the
quarts glass, use protection gloves or a cloth if needed. Fingerprints can
inhibit the lamps disinfection effect.
NOTE - The remote contains a CR2025 battery. New
batteries can be bought at your local hardware store.
