Ozone
This product contains a function where ozone is produced. The ozone
treatment is recommended to use in spaces where people, pets or
plants are not present during a longer period, such as unoccupied
garbage rooms, changing rooms and public toilets.
WARNING! - Ozone exposure can cause symptoms
such as irritated eyes, throat and nose. Always pay
attention to any ozone related symptoms and leave
the space if any symptoms appear.
WARNING! - Carefully read the information under
"Cleaning Mode" before using the ozone function.

DE S CRIP TION & SPECIFIC ATIONS
Ozoneair Purify uses a combination of different cleaning
techniques to achieve the best possible cleaning effect.
The techniques are optimized for an effective cleaning
and combines ionization, UV-light with a catalyst,
photoplasma, HEPA filter and ozone.
ION
Ions play an important role in the atmosphere's self-purifying processes,
and by increasing the amount of ions in the indoor air, one strives to
create similar purifying mechanisms indoors. Small, charged particles
are clumped together by electrostatic forces into larger particles. When
the clustered particles no longer can be kept airborne, they fall to the
floor and other horizontal surfaces and can then easily be cleaned away.
DIRECT RADIATION
When airborne microorganisms pass through UV light in a specific
spectrum the UV energy penetrates the outer cell membrane, passes
through the cell body and disrupts its DNA from reproducing, making it
an effective method for disinfection.
HEPA FILTER
A HEPA filter is a high-efficiency particulate absorbent air filter; it works
by forcing air through a fine mesh that traps harmful particles such as
pollen, pet dander, dust mites, and tobacco smoke.
PHOTOCATALYSIS
A chemical reaction occurs where electromagnetic radiation in the
ultraviolet region activates a catalyst. When the UV light activates the
catalyst, it generates hydroxyl radicals which eliminates bacteria, viruses,
mold spores, reduces volatile chemical gases and neutralizes bad odors.
OZONE
Ozone is a gas made of three oxygen atoms which is very reactive and
has a short half-life due to its reaction with surrounding occurring
substances. Ozone can oxidize organic compounds such as odorants,
bacteria, mold spores, viruses, etc. on a molecular level and neutralizes
the source effectively.
Certifications
CE - Ozoneair are CE marked and comply with the RED
Directive (2014/53/EU), the EMC Directive (2014/30/
EU), and Low Voltage Directive (2014/35/EU) issued by
the European Commission.
RoHS – Ozoneair complies with the RoHS Directive
(2011/55/EC) which prohibits the use of hazardous
substances in electronic equipment.
