Inserting/changing the battery

Press charged battery fully into the
power tool.
To remove the battery, press the release
buttons and pull out the battery.
Inserting the tools
Caution!
Before performing any work on the power
tool, set the direction of rotation selector (5)
to the middle position.
Keyless chuck (ALi 10.8 G)
Note
The chuck securely holds drill bits with
a diameter of 0.8–10 mm, ¼" screwdriver
bits as well as ¼" bit holders.
Hold the power tool with one hand and
rotate the chuck with the other hand.
– To open the chuck, rotate it counter-
clockwise.
– To close the chuck, rotate it
clockwise.

Insert tools.
Close the chuck fully.
Carry out a test run to check that the tool
is clamped in the centre.
Tool holder (ALi 10.8 B/ALi 10.8 S)
Note
¼" screwdriver bits and ¼" bit holders
are held securely in the chuck.
Insert tool into the tool holder.
ALi 10.8 B:
ALi 10.8 S:
Pull tool lock forwards and press in the
tool all the way.
Release tool lock.
To remove the tool, pull tool lock
backwards.
