7. USING THE COMPUTER
Functions:
1.
TIME: The time display indicates the training time of up to 99:59 minutes. You can
also set a time that counts down to 0 during training.
2.
Count (number of strokes): Indicates the number of strokes of the current workout.
You can also set a number of strokes that counts down to 0 during training.
3.
DISTANCE: The display shows the distance covered of up to 99.90 km. You can also
set a value that counts down to 0 during training.
4.
CALORIES (approx. calorie consumption): When exercising, the computer shows the
calories burnt. The calories are counted from 0.00 to 9999. You can set your personal
calorie consumption target with a value of 1 to 9999.
5.
PULSE (heart rate): The computer features a built-in receptor for a heart rate sensor
suitable for all common 5.3 kHz chest straps (chest strap not included). This function
shows your current heart rate. You can set a target heart rate using the MODE button.
A beep sounds when this target value is reached.
6.
Rowing pictograph: Shows the length of your strokes. Your stroke has the ideal
length at full extent. Note: Depending on the size of the user, the ideal stroke length
may not be at full extent.
7.
RECOVERY (recovery pulse): The use of a chest strap (not included) is required
to calculate your heart rate recovery. Press the RECOVERY button after training. A
60 second countdown begins during which your initial and final heart rate is measured.
You should remain quietly seated during measurement. After 60 seconds elapse, your
heart rate recovery is assessed.
Important notes:
1.
The computer activates automatically when you begin training or press a button.
2.
The computer turns off automatically after 4 minutes if no signal is received.
3.
If the computer displays no or only a partial image, replace the batteries.
4.
The computer is powered by 2 AA batteries.
