Support Mode

General

If the charger is operated in „Support Mode , the battery clamps are energized after activation of the „Sup-
port Mode . This voltage is kept constantly even if the charger is not connected to the battery.
Warning: In this mode the charger is not protected against reverse polarity!

Start Support Mod

Precondition:
1. The charger is connected to the mains.
2. The charger is not connected to a battery.
3. The charger is in „Support Mode .
Procedure:
1. Connect the charger to the battery.
2. Press the "On/Off button". This is additionally signalized by a flashing button in the display.
3. If the charging cable clamps remain connected to the pole terminals of the vehicle, the battery
can be replaced.

Terminate Support Mode

After replacement of the battery the „Support Modus may be terminated as follows.
1. Push „On/Off-Button .
Short press pauses the „Support Mode .

b. Long press switches off the charger.
2. The charging cable clamps will be de-energized and may be removed.
