INSTALLING OR REPLACING THE CUT OFF DISC
Always use the proper cut off disc for this saw. Cut off discs that do not properly fit the spindle
of the saw will cause loss of control.
Before installing or replacing the cut off discs, make sure the power cord is unplugged. Failure to do so
could result in serious injury or electric shock.
CAUTION
Before cutting, double-check the tightness of the spindle. Serious injury could occur if the cut off wheel is
not securely in place.
NOTE
Unpack product from package and review contents. Keep all packaging until product has been reviewed.
Double check that the saw is turned off and unplugged from the power source before attempting to
install or remove the cut off disc.
Raise the cut off disc cover (05) to fully expose the cut off disc (10).
Push the spindle lock pin and rotate the cut off disc until the spindle lock engages and the cut off disc
stops spinning.
Hold the spindle lock and use the delivered spanner wrench in a counter-clockwise direction to remove the
arbor screw, washer and outer flange.
While the cut off disc is removed, clear any debris from the inner flange. Then install the new cut off disc,
the arbor screw, washer and outer flange.
Check that the cut off disc rotates easily and fully, and is securely held in place.
ADJUSTING THE SAW FOR USE
To ensure accurate and safe operation of the saw, the cutting angle must be determined and set before
cutting.
To adjust the Cutting Angle, loosen the two fence hex bolts (A) as shown and turn the fence (B) to the
desired angle. The vice (C) pivots automatically to match the same angle as the fence.
