• Slowly lower the rear part of the tool to start the groove.
• Slowly move the tool following the drawn path to make
the groove. Use the roll borders as guidance to follow the
desired path.
• Move forward slowly and do not push the tool. Pushing
the tool will damage the tool and won't make the milling
cutter work faster.

5. Cleaning and maintenance instructions

5.1 Maintenance and Cleaning
Before any operation is made, unplug the tool from
the power socket.
Clean the tool with compressed air and a wet cloth.
Every 100 work hours the carbon brushes must be
replaced. The tool is supplied with a set of carbon brushes.
To change them access the brush compartment removing
the two covers with the provided star screwdrive. Slightly
extract the brush support and remove the worn out brush
lifting the string strip first and placing it next to the brush
support (Fig. 2).
Regularly check on the milling cutter's condition. Replace
it when you notice the work is being slowed down. To
sharpen the milling cutter you can use a silicon carbide
grindstone grain 80, but it's best to contact your local
provider.

16. Disposal
We recommend subjecting electric tools, accessories and
packaging to a recovery process that respect the environ-
ment.
Do not throw away electric tools!
