Congratulations on your purchase of the Milling Cutter
wall chaser RF1100.
This tool is designed to make grooves and channels on
brick walls.
This manual is consistent with the date of manufacture of
your machine, you will find information on the technical
data of the machine acquired manual check for updates

1 . Specific safety instructions

Always follow the safety rules from your company.
Keep children away from this tool.
Do not use this tool under rain or extreme damp conditions.
Do not use this tool in dangerous areas such as explosive
or flamable enviroments.
Do not use this tool on pure concrete.
Use eye and face protection. Use a breathing mask with
dust filters. Use gloves. Use ear protection.
Make sure the groove you are about to make does not
collide with any water or electrical conducts. Use a metal
detector.
Socket connection
Abide the local regulations before conecting the tool.
The tool has a class II protection so an earth grounding
is not neededp. The tool takes a nominal power of
1100W but on certain occasions it can take more. Unse
a magnetothermic switch class C10 or C16 to protect the
tool and your installation.

The tool must be used in indoor dry enviroments free of
explosion risk.

3. Operation instructions
3.1 Setting and testing
• The tool is provided without the milling cutter installed
nor the dust extraction adapter. Install the milling cutter
according to the chapter "Tool change". Install the dust
extraction adapter pushing it on it's insertion and fix it with
two M4x7 screws provided with the tool.
• Conect the 42mm number 6 adaptor to a vacuum cleaner
hose. A High-end vacuum cleaner with automatic start is
recommended. (Stayer has suitable tools like this).
• Under exceptional conditions where eye surveilance is
needed you may remove under your own responsibility
the dust cover 9 working on the 4 screws. Remove the
vacuum adaptor 6 to remove the cover 9. This action is
not recommended, pay extreme attention to the task and
put back the cover on it's place as soon as the task is
finished.

3.2 Tool change

The only tool change needed on this tool is the milling
cutter change. The tool is supplied with 2 milling cutters,
one with a 2,5cm width, the other with a 3cm with cut.
• To remove the milling cutter block the spindle with the
14 key (17 side) and introduce the 13 key in the milling
cutter to loosen it spininning counter clockwise. Remove
the washer and the milling cutter.
• To install the new milling cutter clean the sitting and the
spindle with compresed air, a hard brush and a wet cloth.
Place the clean washer on the spindle and the milling
cutter with its spacing cillinder touching the washer.
Tighten the milling cutter locking the spindle with the 14
flat key (17 side) and introduce the 13 key in the milling
cutter to tighten it spinning clockwise. Hard tighten it.
3.3 Adjustment operations
The tool allows to select the cutting depth adjusting the
front support roll's 5 height up to 12mm. Work on the 13
nuts to set the desired position to control the cutting depth
and the milling cutter's wear out.
3.4 Workpiece size limitations
The tool allows to make grooves of any length and up to
35mm depth with 25mm and 30mm widths depending on
the milling cutter installed.
3.5 General use instructios
• Mark on the wall the groove's path.
• Make sure to not pass over any water pipe or electrical
cable. Use a detector.
• Place the fron roll 8 on the wall while holding the rear roll
5 lifted over the wall, leaving the milling cutter close to the
wall without touching it.
• Firmly hold the tool by the rear handle 2 and the front
handle 7.Swich on the tool pressing button 3 and 4
simultaneously. The tool will work as long as the button
