- OPERATING THE TOOL
5.1 Control devices
Start the tool by flattening the safety catch (1) forwards and by pressing the trigger (3).
Stop the tool by releasing the trigger (3).
5.2 Operating instructions
WARNING!
•
Never use the tool without the stone hurling guard (8).
•
Always wear suitable protective clothing and accessories. Wear safety helmet, glasses, mask, boots or shoes and
gloves. Never wear a tie, scarf, necklace, belt or loose clothing which could get caught in the moving parts. Long
loose hair could get caught, too (drawing A).
5.3 Trouble-shooting
PROBLEM
The bush-cutter does not work.
The bush-cutter does not have power
enough.
Air leaks from the handle valve (19) of
the extension pole.
The pneumatic motor jams.
The disc (7) jams.
WARNING!
Never use the tool without the air deviator/silencer (20). The motor could get strongly damaged.
NOTE

CAUSE
a) The compressor does not work
b) The air hose is clogged.
a) The air hose is clogged.
b) The compressor does not produce
enough air pressure.
c) Lack of lubrication in the pneumatic
motor.
d) Condensation in the air tank.
The valve seals are worn.
The lubrication is insufficient.
Accumulation of cutting residues.
SOLUTION
a) Check the compressor for air produc-
tion.
b) Remove the air hose and check it for
clogs.
a) Disconnect the air hose and blow with
compressed air to remove the
residues.
b) Check the air pressure in the com-
pressor which should be 800/1000
kPa (8-10 bar).
c) Check the oil level in the compressor
lubricator.
d) Empty the compressor air tank.
Disassemble the valve (19) and replace
all the inner seals, even if slightly worn.
Pour few diesel drops or spray a little
graphite into the quick air plug (12). Let
the tool idle for a while.
Disconnect the air hose and remove the
stuck residues from the tool.
