* The recommended cooking times in the table below are based on the use of a single
TopChips with 1-mm (0.04-in.) thick slices cut with Mastrad's Special TopChips Mandolin.
Please note: the cooking times listed are recommendations only.
Many factors can considerably alter the ideal cooking time:
• your microwave's general state (how old and clean it is) and maximum power,
• the origin, ripeness, and water content of the food you are using,
• the thickness and consistency of your fruit and/or vegetable slices.
Helpful hints
• When cooking potatoes, dry them first before placing them
on the TopChips.
• For best results, season your chips once cooking is complete.
• Season your chips once cooking is completed.
• Spices such cinnamon, cardamom, saffron, turmeric, pepper, paprika,
chives, and other herbs are delicious when used to season your chips.
• Do not overcook your chips as you could damage your TopChips.

• Peel & wash the foods.
• Place the food on the base and set the pusher/guard on top.
• Hold the food slicer handle with one hand and the food pusher
securing the food with the other.
• Slice with continuous back and forth movements.
• Makes 1mm (1/32 inches) slices.
• Ideal for hard foods, not recommended for soft foods such as
tomatoes.
Warning
• Always use the food pusher/guard.
• Extremely sharp blade.
• Wash before first use (by hand or in a dishwasher).
• Keep out of the reach of children.
