rotation of the light in the mounting surface plane
with a pivot block. To do this, do not screw on
the nut yet. Make a slot in the hole as follows:
-Mark the center of the slot for the pivot block.
-Remove the LR-125 from the hole and, using
a round file of 5 mm. diameter, make the slot.
-Put the pivot block into the slot provided on
the threaded stem. Reintroduce the connector
and threaded stem into the modified hole, making
sure the pivot block lines up with the slot in the
hole. Screw on the nut and tighten.
MODEL LR-130 (magnetic mounting)
WARNING
The light should be mounted on a
surface (vehicle roof) with good
magnetic properties (such as steel or
iron).
This light should not be mounted
on aluminum, plastic, glass or any
other surface thah will not accept a
magnet.
The mounting surface should be
clean and free of dust, water, ice,
etc. or any other material that would
impede the mounting of the light.
LR-025
Fig.5
The bottom of the base has three strong magnets,
covered with a thin layer of silicone to prevent
damage to the vehicle surface; also there are
three silicone suction cups to assure secure
mounting. (See figure 3). For better security
when driving at high speeds, connect the snap
hook on the cable to an eyelet securely mounted
inside the vehicle.
LR-130
the vehicle
With the LR-130 is included, as accessory, a
metallic plate with screws what will allow you
to fix the lights inside the vehicle when is not
used.
MODEL LR-135 (permanent mounting)
The permanent mounting model has an elastic
base which adapts to the curvature of the
mounting surface and creates a water-tight seal.
(See figure 4).
To install it, drill three holes of 5.5 mm. diameter
for the mounting bolts, and one hole of 13 mm.
diameter through which to pass the cables. The
centers of the holes can be marked with the
template provided. Before drilling, verify that
the mounting location is suitable and check that
both sides of the drilling surface are free of
anything that could be damaged. Use the M4x25
bolts and M4x12 whasers to secure the light.
