ATTENTION!
The boiler must only be cleaned when cold.
NOTE:
Failure to carry out this operation will make the warranty null and void.
Sequence of operations:
•
Disconnect the plug (8) from the socket.
•
Place the boiler on a wash basin.
•
Shake the base to help the limescale chips detach (Fig. B).
•
Remove the cap cover (12) at the bottom of the boiler by turning it anti-clockwise
(Fig. C).
•
Loosen the cleaning cap (13) by turning it anti-clockwise with a coin (Fig. D).
•
Let the water and limescale drain from the hole.
•
Shake the boiler once again for the remaining water and limescale chips to come out.
•
Tighten the cleaning cap (13) by turning it clockwise with a coin.
•
Set the cap cover (12) in place by turning it clockwise.
Do not tighten the cleaning cap (13) too tightly as the thread may be
damaged.
Do not clean the boiler with detergents, anti-limescale products, vinegar
or any other type of substance.
The boiler must be cleaned when cold, at least 4 hours after it is switched off.
Once the boiler is cleaned, always fill the reservoir with water before
using the boiler in order to prevent it from overheating.
CLEANING THE APPLIANCE
Switch the appliance off and disconnect the plug from the socket before cleaning.
When necessary, clean the appliance with a damp cloth. Do not use solvents or other
aggressive or abrasive detergents. Otherwise, the surface could be damaged.
Make sure all cleaned parts are completely dry before reusing the appliance.
END OF USE
•
Switch the appliance off by pressing the iron/boiler ON/OFF (2) button.
•
Disconnect the plug (8) from the socket.
•
Wait for the appliance to cool down completely before putting it away. The reservoir
does not have to be emptied.
NOTE: if the appliance is not going to be used for several weeks, empty the boiler
