To complete the installation of the LED Light Kit art.999, it is necessary to open the umbrella.
OPENING THE UMBRELLA
1. Remove the lace that holds the umbrella to the SIDE POST (2) in the closed position.
2. Push the SLIDER HANDLE (3) upwards until it locks. During the locking phase it is possible to hear several "clicks"
coming from inside the SIDE POST (2) and at the same time a difficulty in continuing with the upward movement of the
SLIDER HANDLE (3): the "umbrella opening" position has been reached.
Unscrew the electrical cable protection caps on the umbrella's upper hub.
WARNING!
NEVER FORCE THE SPLINTS OF THE UMBRELLA IF YOU FEEL
RESISTANCE IN THE MOVEMENT OF THE SLIDER HANDLE!
In this case, you need to pull a few splints of the umbrella manually and gently
to facilitate opening.
It is advisable to complete
the assembly operations with
the help of a ladder, in order
to reach the upper part of the
umbrella more easily, with
the necessary precautions.
