6. Carefully install the hood deflector to hood, aligning tape
block edge to the top edge of grille. Ensure the hood deflec-
tor is centralized around the chrome appliqué. (Figure 6)

7. Adhere hood deflector onto hood and press lightly. Check
the position of the hood deflector and begin pulling the rest
of the tape liner from the center. (Figure 7)
NOTE: Adhesive backing on foam pads is very strong and is not
designed for re-application.

8. Using a soft clean cloth rub down firmly around the tape
attachment areas 4 times to ensure maximum adhesion.

9. Ensure that the metal clips align with the holes in the hood
deflector. Slide clips sideways slighly to ensure holes align
(if required). Complete installation by securing hood deflec-
tor to clips with screws and washers provided. (Figure 9)
DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN!

10. Note the area of the headlight lens below the metal clip
fitted to the hood deflector. Clean the headlight at this
location. Wipe away any residue with a dry clean cloth.
Adhere the abrasive resistant tape to the lens at this loca-
tion. (Figure 10)

11. Measure 60mm in and 40mm up from each corner of the
hood. Clean this area with the alcohol wipe provided, then
wipe away any residue with a clean dry cloth. Adhere rubber
bumpons to the hood at the noted locations. (Figure 11)
