Installation
Remove the Old Valve Assembly
Turn off the water supplies. Turn on the faucet to relieve the water pressure.
Loosen the setscrew at the back of the handle with a 5/64" hex key (not provided).
Unscrew the handle.
Remove the remaining handle components so the valve nut is accessible. You may need a
small blade or screwdriver to lift the cap. Be careful not to scratch the finish.
Remove the valve nut with a wrench or 1-1/8" (2.8 cm) deep socket (not provided).
Pull the valve out of the faucet body.
Install the New Valve Assembly
Insert the new valve into the faucet body. Align the tabs on the valve with the holes in the
faucet body. Make sure that the tabs are seated.
Reinstall the nut. Tighten the nut one quarter-turn past hand-tight.
Reassemble the handle parts in the order that they were removed.
Turn on the water supply and check for leaks.
