Notes on installing temperature sensors
• To correctly capture small temperature differences, temperature sensors should be
installed directly immersed (i.e. without immersion pocket ) – this is prescribed up to DN
25 for new installation for cold meters and is mandatory. Also for DN 40, the sensor can
be installed in a special ball valve with special sensors.
• Install both temperature sensors at locations of the same and higher flow speed.
To reduce measurement differences caused by installation, use a diffusion resistant insu-
lation. Design the insulation so that no condensate can penetrate into the insulation of the
pipeline via the location of the temperature sensor installation.
Displays/operation
• The button
is used to call up the primary displays.
• The button
is used to call up the secondary displays for the respective primary
displays.
• After 4 minutes, the meter automatically returns to displaying energy consumption.
