Note: Calibration should be done in the same temperature as it will be used. If the working
temperature changes more than 5°C the unit need to be recalibrated.
2. Measurement
2.1 Open the lid and place 2-3 drops of liquid that needs to be controlled. Make sure to
cover the entire surface of the prism.
2.2 Close the lid and make sure there are no air bubbles or dry spots.

2.3 Wait for 30 seconds and then look in to the eyepiece and determine the value by
taking the reading where the upper blue field and the lower white field meets.

2.4 Take the reading where the blue and the white field meets at preferred graduation
scale.
