1. Calibration
Note: Should be done before first time or when not been used for some time.
1.1 Open the lid and place 2-3 drops of distilled water using the pipette (pos.7) Make
sure to cover the entire surface of the prism (pos.1).

1.2 Close the lid (pos.2) and make sure there are no air bubbles or dry spots.
1.3 Wait for 30 seconds then lift it by the rubber grip (pos.4) and point the prism towards
a bright light source.
1.4 Look into the eye piece (pos.6) and adjust the focus if needed by turning the focus
ring (pos.5).

looking into
the instrument
1.5 The blue area should be down to marked water line. Adjust the water line if needed
by turning the calibration screw (pos. 3).
