- Users must not direct the jet at themselves
or at others to clean clothing or footwear.
- Locking the lance trigger (lever) in the de-
livery position during operation is prohibited.
- The water heater incorporated into the
appliance uses a burner fired with Diesel
fuel. The use of any other fuels is dangerous.
- Before cleaning and/or maintenance op-
erations are commenced, disconnect the
appliance from the electricity and water
supplies.
- Periodically, at least once a year, have the
safety devices inspected by an approved
technical service centre.
- The appliance is intended for outdoor
use. If the appliance is used in an enclosed
space (not recommended), install a fume
extraction system and ensure the room is
adequately ventilated.
- Never obstruct openings or vents admitting
air and releasing heat, and never allow the
flue to become blocked.
- Do not use the appliance if the power cable
is damaged.
If the cable is damaged, have it replaced
only by an IPC-approved technical service
centre.
The power cable must not be replaced by
the user.
- The power cable must never be tugged or
pulled taut, and must be protected against
accidental pinching along its entire length.
- The following fundamental rules must be
observed when using any electrical equip-
ment:
• do not touch the appliance with wet hands

or feet;
• do not use the appliance when barefoot or
dressed in unsuitable clothing;
• do not unplug the appliance from the mains
socket by tugging on the power cable or the
appliance itself.
(for appliances having a rated power less
than 3 kW, fitted with a plug).
- In the event of malfunction and/or poor
operation of the appliance, turn it off (discon-
nect from the mains supply with the double
pole isolating switch, or in the case of models
having a rated power of less than 3 kW by
unplugging from the mains socket) and do
not tamper with it.
- In the event of accidents, seek medical
advice or emergency treatment.
The appliance is classified as Class I with
regard to protection against electric shock.
Contact an IPC-approved technical ser-
vice centre.
Failure to observe these requirements
is seen as negligent use of the product
and will release the manufacturer from
all liability.
