3. Installation
3.1 Wall-mounting HSU and HSM
• Open the heating circuit station by removing the
front
insulation shell (1).
• Remove the piping (3) from the rear insulation shell
(2).
• Decide where on the wall you want to install the hea-
ting circuit station.
• Use the spirit level to position the rear insulation shell
(2) incl. the wall mounting (4) against the wall.
• Then mark the drill holes and drill Ø 10 mm holes
for 2 wall plugs.
• Now remove the wall mounting (4) from the rear insu-
lation shell (2) and screw the wall mounting tightly to
the wall using the supplied fastening screws.
• Reattach the rear insulation shell (2) and the piping
(3) to the wall mounting (4) in reverse order.
• Check that the heating circuit station is correctly
attached.
• Later fix the piping below the heating circuit
assembly using pipe clamps.
3.2 Wall installation of the distributor bar
In the case of systems with the optional distributor bar
for two or three heating circuits, the heating circuit sta-
tions are not mounted to the wall. Here, the heating
circuit stations (1) are screwed directly to the distribu-
tor bar (2) after the distributor bar has been fastened
to the wall using the supplied wall bracket (3).
3.3 Opening the gravity brake
A tight-sealing gravity brake is integrated in the ball
valve above the circulation pump. The ball valve hand-
le must be turned 45° to the right to fill and drain the
system. This sets the gravity brake to open.
3.7 Filling and flushing the system
Before starting the heating circuit station, the pipes
should be flushed with water in order to remove solder
residue and dirt. Afterwards, fill and conduct pressure
test.
