applying excessive load to the brush. The wire bristles can
easily penetrate light clothing and/or skin.
• If the use of a guard is recommended for wire brushing, do
not allow any interference of the wire wheel or brush with the
guard. Wire wheel or brush may expand in diameter due to
workload and centrifugal forces.
• Machine has always to be connected, for safety reasons, in a
protected electric network with differential switch and a circuit
breaker, according with low voltage installations normative.
Dust and shavings from drilling never have to be cleaned
when the machine in use. Machine has always to be plugged
in with the switch disconnected. Blade or spindle have to be
manipulated with the machine disconnected.
• Handle has always to be used for better subjection. Apparatus
has to be disconnected immediately in case of high vibrations
or other anomalies. Examine the machine to search the
causes. Blades have to be used and stored according to the
manufacturer indications. Sparks are produced when grinding
metals. Because of fire hazard, do not use this machine when
grinding metals near to flammable materials. Do not use
any kind of dust extractor or vacuum cleaner if sparks are
produced.
• Be careful that no sparks or chips from the work piece can
injury yourself or other people around the working area. When
cutting stone you should use the guide shoe. The clamping
nut must be secured before start working with the machine.
The work piece must be set properly, unless they are well
kept fixed by its own weight. Work pieces have not to be
held by hand when operating the grinder. In case of extreme
operating conditions (p. Ex. Polished metal with backing pad
and abrasive discs fiberboard), a lot of dirt can accumulate
inside the grinder.
• In these conditions and for safety reasons, grinder has to be
cleaned in depth. If the differential switch is disconnected and
cannot be rearmed, machine has to be checked by the official
technical support service. If you use tools with threaded holes,
make sure that the thread is long enough to accept the length
of the stem.
Other safety information
• Be sure the power supply is same as the voltage given on the
rating plate. The tool is fitted with a two-core cable and plug.
• Remove the power plug from socket before carrying out any
adjustment or servicing.
