SAFETY INFORMATION
For domestic use only.
When using electrical appliances you should always observe some basic safety measures, including
the ones listed below:
1. Only use the vacuum cleaner inside and on dry surfaces.
2. Turn of the vacuum cleaner's controls before plugging it in or taking out the plug.
3. Always unplug the vacuum cleaner before connecting or disconnecting the hose and
accessories.
4. Keep a watch on the children to make sure they do not play with the appliance.
5. Adults or children must not operate this appliance without help or supervision if they are physically,
sensorially or mentally incapable of doing so safely. Children should be watched to make sure that
they do not play with this product.
6. Use the vacuum cleaner as described in this manual. Only use accessories recommended by the
manufacturer.
7. Do not use the vacuum cleaner it has been dropped, is damaged, has been outdoors or submerged
in water. Do not use the vacuum cleaner with a damaged cable or plug. If the power cable is
damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, authorised technical service or qualified
engineer to prevent dangerous situations.
8. Do not throw the vacuum cleaner or move it using the cable. Do not use the cable as a handle.
Try not to pinch the cable when you close a door or move it past sharp edges or corners. Do not
pull the vacuum cleaner over the cable. Keep the cable away from hot surfaces.
9. Do not handle the plug or the vacuum cleaner with wet hands. Do not use the vacuum cleaner
outside or on wet surfaces.
10. Do not put any objects in the openings. Do not use the vacuum cleaner with the openings blocked
or block air flow. Make sure that all the openings have no dust, fluff, hairs or anything else that
could block air flow.
11. Keep hair, loose clothes, fingers and all parts of the body well away from the openings and from
moving parts.
12. No not hoover up hot ashes, cigarette ends, matches or any other hot, smoking or burning
objects.
13. Do not hoover inflammable or combustible materials (liquid for lighters, petrol, kerosene, etc.) or
use the vacuum cleaner in the presence of explosive liquids or vapours.
14. Do not hoover harmful or toxic materials (bleach, ammonia, drain cleaning liquid, etc.).
15. Do not hoover hard or sharp objects, such as glass, nails, screws, coins, etc.
16. Do not use the vacuum cleaner without its filters installed.
17. Be extremely careful when you use the vacuum cleaner on stairs.
18. Make sure that there is enough light in the area where the vacuum cleaner is being used.
19. Keep the vacuum cleaner in a cool and dry place.
20. Turn off the on/off (I/O) switch before unplugging the vacuum cleaner.
WARNING:
Always turn off the vacuum cleaner and unplug it from the socket before assembling, opening or
emptying the dust container, or before connecting/disconnecting the accessories.
PRECAUTION:
The vacuum cleaner is a very powerful machine. Before plugging the cable into the socket, make sure
that the switch is turned to the "off" position. Firmly the hold the vacuum cleaner when you turn it on
and when you use it.

IMPORTANT:
If the inlet, hose or telescopic tube are blocked, turn the vacuum cleaner off and remove the blockage
before turning it on again.
IMPORTANT:
Washing the filters improves hoovering power. Make sure that all the filters are totally dry before putting
them back into the vacuum cleaner.
This vacuum cleaner is only designed for domestic use and not for commercial or industrial use.
MOTOR THERMOSTAT
The motor comes equipped with a thermal circuit breaker. If for any reason the vacuum cleaner were
to overheat, the thermostat will automatically turn it off. If this happens, turn the switch off and unplug
the vacuum cleaner from the socket. Remove the dust container and empty it. Clean the filters. Leave
the vacuum cleaner to cool down for approximately one hour. To use it again, plug it into a socket and
turn the switch on again.
ASSEMBLY
Always unplug the vacuum cleaner from the socket before assembling or removing accessories.
1. Insert the flexible hose (fig. 1) in the vacuum cleaner body's inlet hole. Make sure that the parts on
the hose are aligned. Insert the hose into the machine, pushing it until it is locked with a "click".
2. Push the telescopic metal tube in until it reaches the end of the handle (fig. 2).
3. The telescopic tube can be lengthened or shortened pressing the button and sliding the tube out
or in as necessary (fig. 3).
4. Attach the brush for combination of floors inserting it into the metal tube (Fig. 4).
USE
Releasing the cable.
Totally unwind the power cable. A yellow mark on the cable indicated the recommended length. Do not
unwind the cable past the red mark (Fig. 5).
On/off switch (I/O).
1. Put the plug into the socket.
2. To turn the vacuum cleaner on, press the on/off switch (3) at the top. Press the switch again to turn
it off.
Carpet cleaning:
To clean carpets and rugs, press the wavy button (13) on the brush accessory for floors and lift the
brushes up.
Cleaning hard floors:
To clean hard floors, press the wavy button (13) on the brush accessory for floors to lower the
brushes.
Cable rewinding:
To rewind the power cable, press the cable winding button (9) on the top of the vacuum cleaner, and
guide the cable with your hand. This will prevent the cable from lashing which could cause damage
or injury.
Carrying handle:
Use the carrying handle (6) on the back end of the vacuum cleaner to move it from one place to
another.
