INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Precaution: if too much pressure is applied to the cone while the appliance is extracting juice, the motor could stop and
be damaged.
1.
Remove the transparent lid.
.
Place the cone on the motor axle.
3.
The juice container has an anti-drip valve.
- If you wish to pour the juice directly into a glass, put a glass below the valve and press downwards to open the
valve.
4.
Cut a citrus fruit in half and press the cut end into the centre of the cone.
The juice extractor will start automatically when the fruit is pressed downwards and the cone will start to turn.
The juice extractor stops automatically when the pressure on the cone is reduced. The cone extracts the pulp and
squeezes the juice out of the fruit. The fruit juice goes through the strainer into the juice container from where it can be
poured into a glass (the valve must be open). The strainer retains the pulp and large seeds. To extract as much juice as
possible, press the half fruit into the cone several times.
Maximum continuous operation time: 15 seconds.
Minimum rest time before using again: 15 seconds.
AFTER USE
1.
Unplug the appliance.
.
Remove the cone, the strainer, the juice container and the motor axle from the appliance and wash them.
ADVICE
Citrus juices should be consumed immediately and should never be stored in a metal container.
-
Citrus juices are ideal for mixing with one another. For example, orange juice can be mixed with lemon juice to give
you an extra vitamin C boost.
-
Recently extracted juice gives cocktails a strong, acid touch and a better flavour.
-
Lemon juice is also delicious in hot tea and in addition helps to boost your defences when you have a cold.
CLEANING
-
Unplug the juice extractor before cleaning it.
-
The base housing the motor must not be submerged in water or other liquids or held under running water, as this
could cause an electric shock.
-
The cone, the strainer and the juice container can be washed in a dishwasher.
-
Clean the base housing the motor with a damp cloth.
