NEW CONTACT
To add a new number to your Contact List:
Using this submenu, the number is saved as a new Contact. To save the number into
an existing Contact, edit the Contact entry.
1. Slide the phone up, press the
Contact.
2. In the
Name
field, enter a name for the Contact.
To change the input mode, press the Left Soft Key
and press the OK Key.
3. Press the Directional Key
down to enter information in other fields for the
contact. Fields include:
Mobile 1
/
Home
/
Work
/
Email 1
/
IM Screen Name
/
Fax
/
Email 2
4. Press the OK Key [SAVE] to create the contact entry.
CONTACT LIST
You can review all the entries stored in your Contact List or quickly find an entry by
entering a name or its character string in the Go To field.

Shortcut:
From idle mode, slide the phone up and press the Right Soft Key
[Contacts]. The list of names in your contacts is displayed alphabetically.

Erase:
Deletes the contact from your contact list.
New TXT Message:
Allows you to send a TXT Message to the contact.
New Picture Message:
Allows you to send a Picture Message to the contact.
New Video Message:
Allows you to send a Video Message to the contact.
New Voice Message:
Allows you to send a Voice Message to the contact.
Send IM:
Allows you to send an IM message to the contact. Only available when an IM
Screen Name is set for the contact.
Send Email:
Allows you to send an Email message to the contact. Only available when an
Email address is set for the contact.
Set As ICE Contact:
Set as an emergency contact.
Call:
Dial the contact.
Manage Contacts:
Allows you to manage your contacts with the following options:
Erase
/
Lock
/
Unlock
/
Send Name Card:
Allows you to send a name card via Bluetooth®.
4. To dial the selected number, press the Right Soft Key

BACKUP ASSISTANT
Backup Assistant is a wireless service that stores a copy of your Contact List to a secure
web site.
1. Slide the phone up, press the
[MENU], then press

2. Follow the on-screen prompts.
GROUPS
Groups allow you to classify phone entries into groups with up to 10 members in each
group. The default groups include Family and Work and they cannot be erased or
renamed.
