Troubleshooting

If the unit does not perform properly when operated as instructed in this manual, check the
unit, consulting the following checklist.
Problem
No power.
No picture on the LCD
screen.
Cannot charge the
battery pack or battery
error appears on the LCD
screen.
No sound or picture on
the connected TV via AV
cable.
No audio / video signal
on the display device via
HDMI cable.
Distorted picture.
Completely distorted
picture or black / white
picture with BD / DVD.

- Check if the AC adapter or battery pack is properly connected.
- Charge the battery pack.
- This unit has protection circuitry which will be activated when
the unit becomes too cold or hot. Use this unit between 41°F
(5°C) to 95°F (35°C).
- Disconnect the AC adapter and detach battery pack, and wait
for 5-10 seconds and then connect them again.
- LCD screen is off when a cable is connected to AV OUT jack or
HDMI OUT jack is outputting the picture. To display pictures
on LCD screen, disconnect the cable from AV OUT jack or
HDMI OUT jack.
- Set "Monitor" to "On" (Refer to page 17).
- Check if the connections are made securely and correctly.
- The charging time increases when the temperature is too hot
or cold.
- The battery pack has reached the end of its service life. (It can
be recharged about 300 times.)

- Check if the connections are made securely and correctly.
- Check if the connected TV is turned on.
- If the unit is connected to the unauthorized display device
with an HDMI cable, the audio / video signal may not be
output.
- Check whether the connected TV supports HDCP. (This unit
will not output a video signal unless the other device supports
HDCP.)
- Check whether the output format of this unit (HDMI FORMAT)
matches the supported input format of other connected
device.
- Perform an HDMI cable hotplug, wherein you disconnect the
HDMI cable from the TV and this unit and then reconnect it to
both the devices while they are powered on.
- Ensure that your HDMI cable is certified.
- Sometimes a small amount of picture distortion may appear.
This is not a malfunction.
- When connecting to the TV, connect this unit directly to the
TV. If the audio / video cables are connected to a VCR, pictures
may be distorted due to the copy right protection system.
- Make sure the disc is compatible with this unit.
