2. Then you climb to mountain top and get 941.25hPa ,usually near the earth, the air pressure will average come
down 12hPa when climb up 100 meters
3. When you climb in the middle of mountain and get 973.25hPa, you will feel it's a little bit hard to breathe and the
feeling remind you make up your Oxygen and know how long you will get to top.
B. Air pressure change as time change
1. usually the air pressure will reach maximum at 10AM ,then slowly come down
It will reach minimum at 4PM,then slowly go up
It will reach second maximum at 10PM,then slowly come down
It will reach second minimum at 4AM,then slowly go up
2. When the air pressure change within 4hPa except the factor of time,it mean the weather will change from Sunny
to Cloudy, Cloudy to Cloudy sky, Cloudy sky to Rain ,or Cloudy sky to Sunny etc.
3. When the air pressure change beyond 4hPa in short time,it means the weather will have a huge change like
sunny to rainstorm or rain to sunny. Pay attention to this and avoid the risk.
Height (Unit:meter): it's altitude height, it will show you the updated height, so you can easy to get the real height of
a mountain by calculate or you can know your location
For example:
1. When you at mountain bottom and the height is 100 meters ,
2. Then you climb to mountain top and get 700 meters,
3. So the real mountain height is 600 meters.
4. Or if your height show 400 meters, you will know you are in the middle of mountain.
The above 3 features like a small weather station .Help you know the situation of weather and get the real figure for ref.
7.6 Compass
Compare with the mechanical compass:
1.in the open places
2.without interference (such as large current equipment,magnet)
3.the horizontal distance between the testing machine and the comparison should be more than 25cm.
With mechanical compass shall prevail,record the figures shows on the compass every 20°
For example:
1.on the same surface take 0°as the North
2.rotate 20° lockwise
3.take the figures of the machanical compass as the standard one
