■ Do not leave the appliance running or plugged in when you move away even for a few moments,
especially in the presence of children.
■ Do not plug any other appliances in the same outlet with the help of adapters, in order to avoid any
power surges that may damage your appliance or cause injuries. Do not use an extension cord without
having made sure that it is in a proper condition.
■ For your safety, this appliance was designed in compliance with the following provisions and regulations
in force:
- Low Voltage Directive
- Electromagnetic Compatibility
- Environment
- Food contact materials.
■ Do not touch the beaters, the dough hooks or the balloon whisk (certain models only) while
the appliance is running. Do not leave long hair, scarves, etc. hanging above the running
accessories.
■ Always unplug the appliance if left unsupervised before assembly, disassembly or cleaning.
■ Do not connect accessories having different functions at the same time.

PRECAUTIONS FOR USE

■ Always make sure that the speed selector switch is on position "0" before plugging in the appliance.
■ To avoid injuries, ensure that your hair, your clothing or other objects do not come into contact with the
moving parts of the appliance.
■ Do not touch the beaters or the dough hooks while the appliance is plugged in and do not insert any
object (knife, fork, spoon, etc.) into the holes, in order to avoid injuries to yourself or other people or
damage to the appliance. You may use a spatula only when the appliance is turned off.
■ In order to avoid damage to the appliance, do not place the appliance and its accessories into the
freezer, the conventional oven or the microwave oven.
■ The beaters and the dough hooks are designed for food processing. Do not use them to mix other
products.
START-UP
■ Before using your appliance for the first time, remove the accessories from their package and wash
them in warm water.
■ Dry thoroughly.
