6.1.- LIMITERS (except CT- 1 MKIII)
Internally, they permit us to activate a protection system, which assures the correct operation of the
loudspeakers, protecting them against excessive working conditions.
For their adjustment, remove the unit's top cover. You will find a mini DIP switchboard of 4 positions
near each signal exit's path. (Fig.6.1). This switchboard has to be adjusted for every channel separately
according to the sensitivity of the selected amplifier. Three of these positions correspond to obsolete DAS
amplifiers (P-1800, P-1400, P-900). The fourth position, labelled ADJUST, allow adjustment of the limiters'
thresholds using the variable resistors provided for every channel. Because this adjustment is more complex,
it is recommended that users consult authorised and specialised personnel.
The controller limiters are factory to the thresholds shown below:
