with the instruction manual (tampering with this device is discouraged by the safety password that only a specialized
expert can bypass). Tab. 1 also lists the data relative to the maximum loads for the shelves.
Important: Obstruction of the protective wire mesh on the condenser (Fig. 6) for cabinets with the incorporated unit will
cause overheating of the compressor motor and reduction of the output of the cabinet.
9 – Prohibitions and prescription
Warning: disconnect the cabinet from the power supply in case it is not used. The power supply has to be disconnected
by the remote-control switch fitted upstream from the power socket.
Warning: Never expose the cabinet to the atmospheric corrosion, never utilise direct jet of water to clean the cabinet,
never touch the cabinet with wet hands or feet.
Warning: Never remove the protections or the covers which require tools for their removal. Never remove the cover of
the electrical control board.
Warning: The cabinets and its shelves must not be loaded with excessive weights. Never stand on the cabinet or on its
working desk.
Warning: The refrigeration circuit doesn't cause any chemical modification on the water generated by the defrosting of
the cabinet. The water is generated exclusively by the steam of the air present in the cabinet.
The water generated by the defrosting has to be always drained through the sewerage system, or specific draining
systems realised as stated by the laws.
Warning: Any use not clearly indicated in this document has to be considered dangerous. The Manufacturer cannot be
considered responsible for any damage caused by wrong, improper or unreasonable use of the product.
Warning: Do not damage the refrigerant circuit (IEC60335-2-89 and changes).
Warning: Do not use electrical appliances inside the food storage compartments of the appliance, unless they are of the
type recommended by the manufacturer (IEC60335-2-89 and changes).
Warning: This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use
of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Warning: Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Warning: Do not store explosive substances such as aerosol cans with a flammable propellant in this appliance.
10 – Defrosting of the cabinet and evaporation of the water
The defrosting cycle is operated by a timer, the number and the duration of the defrosting cycle is settled in the factory,
for both plug-in and external group cabinets. In case of Sweet Global 2 the defrosting is settled as follow: N°4 defrosting
in 24h time. In case the evaporator should generate ice because of very humid ambient conditions, we suggest to stop
the cabinet for at least one hour, during the closing time of the shop. The opening of the front glass for product loading,
with the cabinet in operation, can generate frost on the evaporator. To avoid such situation it is recommended to stop the
cabinet operation.
Warning: In case adjustment or modification of the setting are needed, please always refer to the maintenance staff.
Warning: Do not use electrical appliances inside the food storage compartments of the appliance, unless they are of the
type recommended by the manufacturer (IEC60335-2-89 and changes)
11 – Cleaning of the cabinet
Clean the cabinet regularly using neutral detergents and dry it with soft cloths. Do not use flammable or abrasive
products, do not use direct water jets. For a more accurate cleaning, remove drawers, glass shelves and, in case, front
glasses. Do use gloves, when cleaning the evaporator, in order to prevent injuries.
Warning: before cleaning the cabinet, always disconnect power supply.
12 –Maintenance
Warning: Before proceeding with the maintenance disconnect the cabinet from the power supply.
Special Maintenance
Every month clean the condenser, taking the protection grid off (Fig. 15). Do use a rigid bristle brush (non metallic) or a
vacuum cleaner to eliminate dust and all residuals settled between fins. Do use gloves when cleaning the condenser, in
order to prevent injuries. Once cleaning operations are over, re-install the protections previously removed. A dirty
condenser increases energy consumption and makes the performances of the cabinet worse. We recommend an overall
checking of the cabinet once a year by specialised staff. The evaporator, after long time operation, could present ice
accumulation, which prevent it to work normally. Every three months, a general cleaning of the cabinet has to be
executed: disconnect the power supply and clean completely the cabinet. Wait until the ice on the evaporator's fins is
completely melted, then clean all the parts of the cabinet as described at Point 10. Before switching on the cabinet, make
sure that it is completely dry.
Routine Maintenance
The cabinet is equipped with a liquid crystals digital thermometer, with battery (inside basin). If the thermometer does not
show the temperature because the battery is over, replace the battery with a new one, of same voltage. Do not throw
away the exhausted battery, but deliver it to authorised collection centres. Battery replacement: take the thermometer out
