We thank you for buying the new JBL Cristal Profi External Filter and congratulate you
on your choice of this innovative filter. Highly efficient filtering and the simplest possible
operation are key factors in the design of this filter.
Safety advice
Only for use with aquariums and only to be used indoors.
If a multi-socket extension is used, it should be positioned above the filter power
connection.
In the case of these appliances, magnetic fields can cause damage or disturbances
in electrical equipment. This also applies to cardiac pacemakers. Please consult the
manual of the medical appliance in question for recommended safe distances.
There is a danger of fingers being squashed by magnetic force when maintenance
work is carried out.
With regard to the wide range of varnishes and waxes used on furniture or wooden
floors, the feet of the appliance may leave permanent marks on a surface due to
unforeseen chemical reactions. Appropriate protection should therefore be used if the
appliance is placed on a wooden surface.
DISPOSAL: Do not dispose this product as unsorted municipal waste.
Collection of such waste separately for special treatment is necessary.
