These sheets show the details of the masts and how to finish them. When the masts are assem-
bled, paint them and mount the fittings. Affix the masts in the hull as shown on the main drawing
with the correct angle. The masts are fastened with the standing rigging (stay, shrouds etc. of rig-
ging thread).

Pos.1: The fishing rods are made of a 3mm round stick. Mount blocks and hooks, made of F22A
metal thread.
Pos.2: This figure shows the top of a fishing rod which has been sandpapered conically.
Pos.3: Wet the rod, put it on the board (see drawing) and keep it bent until it is dry. Then the rod
has the right shape.
Pos.4&
5: This figure shows how to make the bamboopatten on this part of the rod (soldering-iron or
heated copper thread).
Mount this rod on the other half of the fishing rod and put it in the holes at the maststep No. 34.
The whole rod is mounted with 7 hooks. The line to the hooks and the uphaul of the rod are shown
on the drawing.
Pos.6: This figure shows how to mount a single and a double block between the fishing rod and
the main mast.
Pos.7: Make the cradle for the dinghy of fishing tools (3 pieces) as shown. Cut them out No. 43
and assemble them with strip 2x2mm and place them on deck. Glue 10 strips 150x2x2mm on
them with same space in between.
Pos.8: Make the cradle for the model of the piece 48 and strip 8x8x110mm.
