ASSEMBLING YOUR CLEANER
1.
To assemble the ZoomTube - Push connector into the hose inlet.
Please note to release: press in hose connector and pull out (Picture 1)
2.
To assemble the extension tubes to the floor nozzle and the handle - Push and twist to
lock. (Picture 2)
USING YOUR CLEANER
1.
Power supply - Extract cord and plug in to power supply. Please make sure the cord is fully
extended before using the cleaner. (Picture 3)
2.
Extension tube length - Adjust the length of the metal tube to suit your height as shown.

3.
Carpet/hard floor selection - Press the pedal on the nozzle to lower the brush head when
cleaning hard floors. Press the pedal again to lift the brush head when cleaning carpets.
Please refer to the "ACCESSORIES" section for information about additional

4.
On/off pedal - Press the pedal once to start the cleaner. (Picture 6)

Power control - Battery powered Infrared remote control. (Picture 7)
Pause Button
Infrared Remote Control Handset - Use the + and - buttons on the
handset to increase and decrease suction. For normal use reducing

energy consumption select ECO-mode. Important! - Manually select
low power for delicate fabrics. Press pause for short stops, when fin-

REMEMBER: Always press the on/off button to completely switch off the cleaner.

Check dust bag and empty if necessary.
Stand by
Check exhaust filter and wash if necessary.
Overheat warning. Thermal cut out prevents the
cleaner from overheating. Please switch the clean-
er off. It will take approximately 30 minutes to reset
and be ready for use.
7.
ZOOM-tube extension - The unique ZOOM-tube provides, when required, an extra 3 metres
of cleaning reach. Simply turn the clip ring and pull the handle to release the ZOOM-tube.

REMEMBER : Do not position the cleaner above you when cleaning stairs.
8.
ZOOM-tube retraction - Pull valve lever to retract the ZOOM-tube. (Picture10). Release valve
lever when ZOOM-tube has fully retracted. Connect clip ring to handle and twist & lock
shown. (Picture 11)
9.
Switch off at end of use - Press the on/off pedal to switch off the cleaner. Unplug from
socket and press the cord rewind pedal. (Picture 12)
10.
Parking and storage - The extension tube can be parked for temporary storage during
cleaning or in the storage position when not in use. (Picture 13 &14)
CLEANER MAINTENANCE
Replacing the dust bag - If the bag check indicator flashes please check and, if necessary, replace
the bag.
1.
Open cover, pull the bag collar to remove the bag from the bag chamber. (Picture 15). The full
dust bag should be disposed of correctly and carefully.
2.
Fold a new bag as shown (Picture 16) and fit by inserting the bag collar into the location
grooves, as shown (Picture 17) Part no: H36 - 09185091
3.
Push the cover into the closed position.
Remember: The bag check indicator may flash also if an obstruction has occured. In this case refer
to the section "Removing a blockage from the system"
Cleaning the lifetime washable filters - To maintain peak performance of your cleaner please wash
the filters after 5 bag changes. Please wash them with handwarm water and allow the filters to dry
thoroughly before replacing into the cleaner.
! Important - Use only handwarm water.
! In the unlikely event of the filters becoming damaged, please fit a replacement.
Pre-motor filter - Remove pre-motor filter, wash under handwarm water and dry thoroughly before
replacing into cleaner. Part no 03875009 (Picture 18)
Exhaust filter - Remove exhaust filter, wash in upside-down poition under hand warm water as
shown. Please replace filter in its original position when dry. Part no H12-04365057, H13-04365062
