I. Fahrer– und Beifahrersitz
1. Armlehnen
Armlehnen schräg nach oben stellen und den Schon-
bezug passend überziehen. Achten Sie darauf, dass
die Öffnung für das Höhen-Verstellrad unten liegt.
2. Sitzfläche Fahrer-/Beifahrersitze
Der Schonbezug wird von vorn übergezogen. Nach
hinten zu wird der Bezug unter die Rückenlehne hin-
durch gedrückt und beidseitig über die Fortsätze der
Sitzfläche gestülpt. Seitlich wird der Bezug unter die
Kunststoffverblendungen geschoben. Als Hilfswerk-
zeug kann der Stiel eines Kaffeelöffels mit stumpfen
Kanten dienlich sein; niemals Gegenstände mit
scharfer Spitze oder scharfen Kanten verwenden.
Als äußerst hilfreiches Werkzeug ist das "Bananen-
falzbein", Art.: Z00 705 001, zu empfehlen. Um eine
schöne Optik zu erziehlen, werden die Nahtfahnen
rundum die Sitzfläche (Übergang vom waagrechten
in den senkrechten, unteren Bereich) mit der Hand
passend nach unten gelegt. Anschließend wird vorn
der Schonbezug mit dem Klettband unter dem Sitz
befestigt. Dazu muss das selbstklebende Flausch-
band am Blech unterhalb des Sitzes (bitte mit Alkohol
reinigen!) angebracht werden.
3. Rückenlehne Fahrer-/Beifahrersitze (ab 2010)
Kopfstützen abnehmen. Schonbezug von oben über-
ziehen und nur bis ca. halbe Höhe herunterziehen.
Der Schonbezug wird unter die Kunststoffformteile
der Kopfstützenführungen gedrückt – beim Formteil
mit Arretierungsschieber beginnen. Hierbei sollten
Sie den Schonbezug erst unter diesen Schieber und
unbedingt ganz unter das Formteil (nicht nur unter
den Schieber!) drücken – betätigen Sie danach den
Schieber! Wenn der Schieber klemmt, wurde der
Schonbezug nicht vollständig unter den Formteilsok-
kel gedrückt. Hilfswerkzeug: vgl. oben, Nr. 2.
Um eine schöne Optik zu erziehlen, werden die Naht-
fahnen rundum die Lehnenfläche (Übergang vom vor-
deren in den seitlichen / hinteren Bereich) mit der
Hand passend nach hinten zu gelegt. Nunmehr wird
der vordere, untere Fortsatz zwischen Rückenlehne
und Sitzfläche hinter den Sitz gedrückt und mit Klett-
verschluss am Rückenteil des Schonbezugs befe-
stigt. Auch der beidseitige Klettverschluss unter den
Armlehnen ist bündig zu schließen.
ACHTUNG:
Vorsichtig vorgehen, keine Gewalt anwenden, keine
scharfkantigen Hilfswerkzeuge verwenden!
Um eine korrekte Auslösung des Airbags sicherzu-
stellen, achten Sie bitte auf eine genaue Positionie-
rung des Schonbezugs, insbesondere
Airbag-Naht (= Naht mit Airbag-Etikett).
Bei Schonbezügen mit Sollreißnaht für den Seiten-
airbag darf die Sollbruchstelle durch Abdecken
oder selbständiges Reparieren nicht manipuliert
werden. Reparaturen am Schonbezug dürfen nur
durch BRANDRUP durchgeführt werden.
Das eingearbeitete Sicherheitsetikett darf nicht en-
fernt werden!
Das Airbag-Etikett darf nicht entfernt werden (es
dient Rettungskräften als wichtiger Warnhinweis
bei Bergungen)!
Um Verwechslungen zu vermeiden und Ihre Sicher-
heit zu gewährleisten hat Ihr Schonbezug auf bei-
den Seiten die erforderliche Sollreißnaht für einen
Airbag. Dadurch kann die Rückenlehne beliebig am
Fahrer- oder Beifahrersitz montiert werden.
II. Kopfstützen
(generell)
Schonbezug passend überziehen – das innenlie-
gende Etikett zeigt nach hinten (bezogen auf die
Fahrtrichtung des Fahrzeugs). Anschließend Klettver-
schlüsse schließen und Kopfstütze auf die Rücken-
lehne aufstecken.
III. Drehsitz
(Einzelsitz in zweiter Sitzreihe)
1. Rückenlehne
Kopfstützen abnehmen. Schonbezug von oben über-
ziehen. Der Schonbezug wird unter die Kunststoff-
formteile der Kopfstützenführungen gedrückt – beim

Formteil mit Arretierungsschieber beginnen. Hierbei
sollten Sie den Schonbezug erst unter diesen Schie-
ber und unbedingt ganz unter das Formteil (nicht nur
(ab 2010)
unter den Schieber!) drücken – betätigen Sie danach
den Schieber! Wenn der Schieber klemmt, wurde der
Schonbezug nicht vollständig unter den Formteilsok-
kel gedrückt. Als Hilfswerkzeug kann der Stiel eines
Kaffeelöffels mit stumpfen Kanten dienlich sein; nie-
mals Gegenstände mit scharfer Spitze oder scharfen
Kanten verwenden. Als professionelles Werkzeug
dient das „Bananenfalzbein", Art.: Z00 705 001.
Anschließend die Rückenlehne zum Teil vorklappen.
Den unteren Fortsatz des vorderen Rückenlehnenbe-
zugs zwischen Rückenlehne und Sitzfläche hindurch-
schieben und mit dem hinteren Schonbezugteil
mittels Klettverschluss straff verbinden. Alle Klettver-
schlüsse an den Seiten entsprechend schließen.
2. Sitzfläche
Rückenlehne zum Teil nach vorn klappen so, dass
von vorn betrachtet die Drahtstreben zwischen Sitz-
fläche und Rückenteil sichtbar und zugänglich sind.
Schonbezug von vorn überziehen. Hinten wird der
Kunststoffhaken in die von oben nach unten schräg
verlaufenden Drahtstreben eingehängt. Der Schon-
bezug wird rundum unter die Kunststoffverblendun-
gen geschoben.
IV. Reinigen
Alle Schonbezüge für VW-T5 lassen sich mit Trocken-
schaum, Handwäsche oder Waschmaschine (Woll-
programm oder „Bügelfrei", bis 30 Grad C,
Feinwaschmittel ohne Weichspüler, nicht schleudern,
nicht bügeln) reinigen. Die Schonbezüge sollten jähr-
lich gewaschen werden. Der Schutzbezug aus Pla-
nenstoff darf nur mit einem feuchten Schwamm und
mit einem Feinwaschmittel oder Autoshampoo abge-
wischt und trocken nachgewischt werden; auf keinen
Fall in der Waschmaschine waschen.

I. Driver's / passenger's seat
1. Arm rests
Put up the armrest and slip the cover over. Please
make sure that the opening for the height adjusting
scroller is on the bottom side.
2. Driver's / passenger's seat
Slip the cover over the seat from the front. At the
back, push the cover under the backrest and slip
over the extensions of the seat on both sides. On the
sides, slide the cover into the plastic lining. Herefore,
der
use the handle of a tea spoon (with blunt edges) as
auxiliary tool, or our professional tool "Bananenfalz-
bein", reference Z00 705 001.
For an appealing visual appearance, slide the seam
around the rim of the seat downwards (transition from
the horizontal to the vertical part). Now attach the
cover with the hook-and-loop strap underneath the
seat. Therefor, apply the selfadhesive frieze band to
the metal sheet underneath the seat (please clean
with alcohol before applying!).
3. Driver's / passenger's backrest
Remove headrests. From above, slip the cover half-
ways down the backrest. Then, push the seat cover
under the plastic mouldings of the headrest guidan-
ces. Start with the one with slide lock. Hereby, push
the seat cover under the slide first and then entirely
under the moulding (not only under the slide!). Now
test the slide. If the slide jams, the seat cover has not
been pushed under the moulding entirely. Auxiliary
tool: please see above, nr. 2. For an appealing visual
appearance, slide by hand the seam around the rim
of the backrest cover (transition from the front to the
side/back part) backwards until the cover is in the
right position. Then, push the front lower extension
between backrest and seat and attach it with hook-
and-loop fastener to the backpart of the seat cover.
The hook-and-loop fastener under the armrests also
has to be closed flushly on both sides.
ATTENTION:
Please procede cautiously, do not use force and do
not use tools with sharp edges!

Second Skin
In order to guarantee a correct activation of the air-
bag, please make sure that the seat cover is in the
right position, especially at the airbag seam
(= seam with airbag label).
Do not manipulate the seat covers with tear seam
for the side airbag by covering or reparing the pre-
determined breaking point yourself. The seat cover
may only be repared by BRANDRUP itself.
Do not remove the inserted security label!
Do not remove the airbag label (it is a warning for
rescue workers)!
In order to avoid mistakes and in order to guarantee
your security, the backrest seat cover has the re-
quired airbag tear seam on both sides. Thereby, you
can optionaly mount the backrest either to the
driver's or co-driver's seat.
II. Headrest
(general)
Slip the cover over the headrest. For using the seat
cover of the headrest correctly - the inner label
should be pointing towards the back (referring to the
direction of travel). Now close the hook-and-loop fa-
stener and put the headrests back onto the backrest.
III. Rotary seat
1. Backrest
Remove headrest and pull the seat cover over the
backrest from above. Then, push the seat cover
under the plastic moulding of the headrest guidance.
Start with the moulding with slide lock. Hereby, push
the seat cover under the slide first and then under the
moulding (not only under the slide!). Now, test the
slide. If the slide jams, the seat cover has not been
pushed under the moulding entirely.
Use the handle of a tea spoon (with blunt edges) or
our professional tool "Bananenfalzbein" (reference
Z00 705 001) as auxiliary tool. Please do not use ob-
jects with sharp points or edges!
Now, put the backrest forward partially. Push the
front lower appendage of the seat cover under the
backrest and seat and attach it to the backpart of the
seat cover with hook-and-loop fastener. The hook-
(as from 2010) and-loop fastener under the armrests has to be clo-
sed flushly on both sides, too.
2. Seat
Put the backrest forward until, from the front, the wire
frame becomes visible and accessible. Pull the cover
over the seat from the front. At the back, hook the
plastic hook into the wire frame which runs diagonally
from top to bottom. Finally, slip the cover into the
plastic panel all around the seat (auxiliary tool: please
see above I. 1, paragraph 2).
IV. Cleaning
All seat covers for VW T5 can be cleaned with dry
foam, by hand or with the washing machine (pro-
gramme for whool or non-iron programme, up to
30° degrees, mild detergent without using fabric
softener, do not centrifuge or iron).
The seat covers should be washed yearly.
The protective cover made of special tarpaulin
should only be cleaned with a damp sponge and
mild detergent or car shampoo and then dried with
a cloth. Never wash it in the washing machine.

I. Siège conducteur et passager

1. Accoudoirs
Relever les accoudoirs en biais et enfiler la housse
convenablement par-dessus. Bien prendre garde à
ce que l'ouverture pour la mollette de règlage de la
hauteur soit au-dessous.
2. Assise du siège conducteur et passager
Enfiler la housse par-devant. Au fond du siège la glis-
ser sous le dossier, et l'emboîter sur les deux côtés
sur le socle prolongeant l'assise du siège. Puis l'in-
sèrer de côté sous les garnitures de plastique. En
guise d'outil le manche d'une cuillère à café avec des
