Goliath 5 × 5 –
Assembly options
Carefully read through these
assembly instructions, in par-
ticular the safety instructions
in their entirety. Failure to heed these
safety instructions may result in severe
injury or damage to the sun shade. Store
the assembly instructions for future refer-
ence and always include them when
passing the slab stand, ground anchor or
mounting plate on to third parties.
Your safety
Please observe the following
safety instructions. The manu-
facturer is not liable for dam-
age as the result of failure to
comply.
Only use the sun shade with sufficient
ballasting (see "Technical data").
Always place the sun shade on a firm
and level surface.
The concrete slabs needed for ballast-
ing the slab stand are very heavy. Have
at least one other person help you lift and
carry the concrete slabs.
The shade mast is very heavy. Have at
least two other persons help you set up
the shade mast.
Adverse wind conditions can lead to
substantial forces being exerted on the
shade roof and the entire shade con-
struction. Only have a specialised com-
pany pour the concrete (for the ground
anchor 85999BRGO and mounting
plate 85999MGO).
Intended use
The slab stand 85999RGO, the ground
anchor 85999BRGO and the mount-
ing plate 85999MGO are intended for
mounting the sun shade Goliath 5 × 5.

Before you get started ...
When planning assembly, it must first
be determined whether a Goliath 5 ˣ 5
with or without an electric system will be
mounted.
If a Goliath 5 ˣ 5 with an electric system
is to be mounted, a hole for the protective
tube to accommodate electric lines must
be included in planning when pouring the
concrete foundations for the ground an-
chor 85999BRGO and for the mounting
plate 85999MGO.
In any case, enough room for the electric
lines must be planned.
Mounting the pole foot on
the slab stand 85999RGO
If you would like to mount the Goliath
5 ˣ 5 on the slab stand 85999RGO, you
will find the following in the packaging:
You will also need:
16 concrete slabs, 25 kg each
or
8 concrete slabs, 60 kg each
