Input Channels
Your Bugera 1960 INFINIUM possesses two gain
stages (controllable using the VOLUME 1 and
VOLUME 2 controls). Each gain stage yields different
sound characteristics: Channel 1 offers a brighter
tone with extra treble response, while Channel 2
exhibits a darker timbre. You can mix the two
channels' timbres in varying proportions by running
them in parallel, or you may cascade Channel 2
into Channel 1 in series for extra gain and preamp
saturation (a new feature available only in the
Bugera 1960 INFINIUM).
Revised input section
To help you more easily mix or cascade the channels,
your Bugera 1960 INFINIUM features a revised input
section. The new input scheme allows you to run
the channels in parallel or cascaded series using
only a single ¼" instrument cable. The inputs no
longer require an additional patch cable to link
the channels.
