Ensure that the voltage indicated on the rating label
matches the mains voltage before plugging in the
appliance.
Connect the appliance to a base with an earth socket
withstanding a minimum of 10 amperes.
The appliance's plug must fit into the mains socket prop-
erly. Do not alter the plug. Do not use plug adaptors.
Do not force the power cord. Never use the power cord
to lift up, carry or unplug the appliance.
Do not wrap the power cord around the appliance.
Do not clip or crease the power cord.
Do not allow the power cord to hang or to come into
contact with the hot surfaces of the appliance.
Check the state of the power cord. Damaged or tangled
cables increase the risk of electric shock.
Do not touch the plug with wet hands.
Do not use the appliance if the cable or plug is damaged.
If any of the appliance casings breaks, immediately
disconnect the appliance from the mains to prevent the
possibility of an electric shock.
Do not use the appliance if it has fallen on the floor, if
there are visible signs of damage or if it has a leak.
The appliance must be used and placed on a flat, stable
surface.
Do not use or store the appliance outdoors.
Do not leave the appliance out in the rain or exposed
to moisture. If water gets into the appliance, this will
increase the risk of electric shock.
Use and care:
Do not switch the appliance on without water.
Do not use the appliance if the on/off switch (C) does
not work.
Do not move the appliance while in use.
Use the appliance handle/s, to catch it or move it.
Respect the MAX level indicator.
Disconnect the appliance from the mains when not in
use and before undertaking any cleaning task.
Unplug the appliance from the mains before refilling the
water tank.
Store this appliance out of reach of children and/or
persons with physical, sensory or reduced mental or lack
of experience and knowledge.
Do not store the appliance if it is still hot.
The appliance is only intended for heating water; as a
consequence, the appliance should not be used for the
cooking or heating of milk...
Never leave the appliance connected and unattended if
is not in use. This saves energy and prolongs the life of
the appliance.

Take care when handling recipients containing liquids
heated in this appliance as they may boil fiercely.
CAUTION: Water condensation may appear on the
surfaces and objects around this appliance.
Service:
Any misuse or failure to follow the instructions for use
renders the guarantee and the manufacturer's liability
null and void.

Instructions for use
Before use:
Remove the appliance's protective film.
Before using the product for the first time it is advisable
to boil water within, so as to remove all remaining dust
and impurities.
Before using the product for the first time, clean the
parts that will come into contact with food in the manner
described in the cleaning section.
Filling with water:
You must fill the water compartment before turning on
the appliance.
Remove the lid (A) by turning it anticlockwise and lifting
it. (FIG 1)
Fill the kettle with cold water up to the maximum filling
mark.
Replace the lid (A) by aligning the open padlock symbol
on the lid (A) with the lid closed position indicator (G).
Then turn clockwise to lock. (FIG 2)
The lid closed position indicator (G) and the closing
symbol must be aligned.
Use:
Connect the appliance to the mains.
Start the appliance by pressing the on / off switch (C).
You will see that the light (D) is activated.
After a short period, the water will begin to boil.
The unit will continue to boil until turned off or the plug is
removed from the power socket. Do not open the lid (1)
when the water is boiling.
Once you have finished using the appliance:
Stop the appliance by pressing the on/off switch.(C)
