TEMPERATURE HOLD
To activate the water temperature hold function, press the button (B) to cause illumination of the relevant
indicator on the panel (50°C, 70°C, 80°C or 90°C).
Then press the button (A) and hold it for 3 seconds.
Activation of the function will be signalled with flashing indicator and illumination of the jug (7).
The kettle will hold the temperature for 30 minutes, and then it will automatically turn off.
Note.
If the button (A) is pressed and held for 3 seconds without selection of temperature, the kettle will by
default hold the temperature 50°C.
Taking the kettle off the base cancels the settings.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
- the appliance is made of materials which can be recycled,
- it should be handed over to the applicable collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic
equipment
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- allow the unit to cool down completely before cleaning,
- do not immerse the kettle in water while washing up,
- the outside of the kettle may be wiped over with a damp cloth and washing-up liquid,
- water stains inside the kettle can be removed by rubbing with a cloth moisten with white vinegar; rinse the
inside with water afterwards,
- limescale should be removed in the following way:
- fill the kettle with 0.75 litre of water and bring it to boil,
- switch the kettle off and disconnect the kettle from the power supply,
- pour 0.1 litre of white vinegar into the kettle,
- allow to stand overnight,
- discard the solution and rinse the inside with water,
- fill the kettle with 1 litre of water and bring to boil,
- discard the water and rinse the inside with water,
- no timely removal of the scale from the heating element results in the heating element's quicker wear,
- any damage resulting from applying harsh descalling products available in the market are not covered by the
producer's warranty,
- if the power cord is damaged, it can be replaced only by an especially constructed one (with appropriate
plugs and endings).
